News release: Rotary awards Sue McConnell

"The Ledyard Rotary Club has awarded a Paul Harris Fellow to Sue McConnell. Each year Rotary Clubs worldwide honor Paul Harris Fellows to citizens who exemplify the motto of "Service Above Self".

McConnell has spent many hours volunteering her time and services to the community. One thousand dollars will be sent in her name to the humanitarian and educational programs of the Rotary Foundation to continue the goals of Paul Harris, the original founder of Rotary in 1905.

McConnell lives in Gales Ferry with her husband, Bill."
